History of St John the Baptist Primary School

The history of St. John the Baptist CofE Findon Primary dates back to 1829 when the original school was built on land donated by Findon Place. The current school building was constructed on a new site in 1872, also on land provided by Findon Place, and the school celebrated its 150th anniversary on that site in 2022. A popular event in the school's history is the "Summer Revels," which has been held in various forms for about 160 years.
