Welcome to Redwood Class

The Teaching staff in Redwood are:

On Wednesday 15th July 2026, parents were invited to attend a meeting about their child's next academic year at St John the Baptist.  Please find below a copy of the slides used.

A Day in the Life of a Child in Redwood Class

Here is our timetable for this year. Children have a quiet reading slot after breaktime, which will help them to relax and calm before starting the rest of the morning's learning.  Mrs Giffiths will continue teaching computing, whilst Mrs Wellby teaches music to Rowan.     

Spellings for 2026-2027

Please find below a copy of the Years 5&6 spelling list.  Children will be taught the spelling strategies through a main teacher input and spelling games.  At the end of week 2, they will be given a dictation featuring their fortnightly words.
