Sport

As a school we greatly value the benefits that sport can bring to all children both in terms of physical and mental health as well as building self-esteem, improving communication and developing team work and leadership. Therefore, we aim to provide a wide and varied range of sporting opportunities for children throughout the school. This includes both competitions within our school and with other schools as part of our Locality collaboration.

YEAR 5/6 SMALL SCHOOLS FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT - Brrr, it was absolutely freezing over at Angmering School this afternoon, but our footballers battled hard and were footballing superstars. They didn't score any goals, but they kept going and there was some great team work. A huge thank you to all the parents who stood out in the bitter cold cheering them on.

YEAR 5/6 GIRLS' FOOTBALL - Some of our Year 5 girls went to 'The Angmering School' today, to play some football matches against other girls from the locality. We teamed up with St Margaret's school to make a squad of seven players. Although our girls didn't get to score any goals, it was great experience for them, and they really enjoyed themselves.
