SIAMS Inspection (Section 48)
As a Church of England (Aided) Primary School we are subject to a School Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) process under Section 48 of the Education Act 2005. This process evaluates the extent to which schools are “distinctively and recognisably Christian” by focussing on 4 key areas:-
i. Christian character of the school
ii. Impact of collective worship
iii. Effectiveness of RE
iv. Leadership and management
Every Church of England School is inspected at least once every five years. Our last inspection was in February 2013 where we were judged to be good in all areas. For full inspection please see our Section 48 report.
