Hot Meals

In 2014 the Government introduced a new initiative, which entitled all children in Reception, Year 1 & 2 to receive a free Universal Infant Free School Meal. To ensure a meal is available for your child, all lunches, including Universal Infant Free School Meals and Free School Meals (benefits related), need to be ordered by midnight Thursday, ten days ahead of the entire week required. www.parentpay.com

Children in Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 can have hot meals, which must be ordered and paid for via www.parentpay.com

All parents will need to activate their ParentPay account to allow them to access the Chartwells meal ordering system - Username and Passwords are provided by the school office.

From September 2025, the meal price will be £3.20.

For children with food intolerances and allergies, Chartwells have a dedicated team of medical diet nutritionists on hand to support allergen aware children and their parents. More information on their medical diet process can be found here: The Chartwells Approach to Medical Diets | Chartwells. Parents and guardians can contact the medical diet nutrition team directly on:  westsussexspecialdiets@compass-group.co.uk.  To find out more about Chartwells, visit their website or contact the school catering team. Alternatively, children can bring in a healthy packed lunch. Children can also have a mix of Chartwells meals and a home packed lunch, if preferred.

If you are receiving some kind of Income Support or Benefit, then you may be entitled to a Free School Meal, including children in Years 3 to 6. Please click on the link or contact the school office for more information.
